Waka Flocka Flame and The Game entered into a subliminal war of words via Instagram, this week. The back and forth began when Waka criticized “confused”rappers who attempt to be revolutionary, but also post pictures of their “dick prints” on the ‘Gram. Although the Atlanta musician didn’t name names, his comments appeared to take aim at Los Angeles lyricist, The Game.
“They fucking models on Instagram showing their bodies and dick prints,” Waka said in his first video. His second post also included the line, “I’m not finna be doing no black peace treaties when I can’t stop a nigga dying in my hood.”
It’s understandable how The Game would interpret these statements to be shots at him. The Compton rapper infamously shared dick print pictures on social media and recently organized a gang summit. The Game fired back at Waka Flocka in a bizarre video usingJamaicain patois. His accompanying post was written in a similar manner.
“To whom it may concern: mi nah ramp wid di bumboclatt rap bwoy dem, ‘specially wid a waste man dat wear dry up counterfeit locks & hav big lip like a one gyals swell up pomms dat di catch a herpes,” The Game wrote. “But be’cuz mi juss a feel well & blessed today, mi a guh share some words of wisdom … Stop catch up wid di bad mind people dem, take heed & recognize when Jah bless yuh wid a good ‘ooman (Tammy). Swallow yuh pride and use all di goodness life has blessed you with to go and catch her back! Be’cuz truss when mi seh! Yuh nah whan di bad man tingz. My Yute, yuh nah whan dis yah… Back to da positive vibrations, may Jah Bless yuh on your journey. Man dem fi seh, BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!! Yah Dun Know!”
The Game recently has been very active in organizing in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. But according to Waka’s vague rant, he’s not really buying that Game’s best suited to lead the movement given some of his past antics as a rapper. He also goes on to say part of why he personally has been sitting back in light of the recent protests is because he doesn’t know all of the answers and doesn’t want to front like he does. He then goes on to say that he’s not going to lead people “in a f**ked up direction” and that we “know what we gotta do.”
