At the end of Travis Scott’s Beats 1 show, where he premiered Birds in The Trap Sing McKnight, the rapper announced that he will be executive producing Cruel Winter, the long-awaited followup to Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music’s 2012 album Cruel Summer. Scott also added that another single from that project would be coming soon and that he’s currently working on two followup albums to Birds.
Travis recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the impending release. He told the issue, “We’ve got singles on top of singles on top of singles on top of nuclear bombs.” Well, whatever they got on deck, better be better than “Champions.”
As we all know, Cruel Winter has been way overdue. There was a point everyone believe Kanye scrapped the record, but it looks like it’s coming after all. We’ll keep you updated.
