It’s never too late to start chasing your dreams – just ask Dennis Graham. The Tennessee native and father of well-known rapper Drake is launching his R&B career at more than 60 years of age. Graham – who has become something of a celebrity on Instagram – reportedly reached out to Jamie Lovine, a producer and CRO at Meltdown Comics who previously worked with his son, about making music together.
According to TMZ, Lovine was happy to help and got straight to work on Graham’s forthcoming R&B album. Drake’s dad has also enlisted the help of some of his son’s friends to make sure his music gets to the people with TMZ reporting Dennis got Jamie Iovine to produce the album.
If Jamie’s name or last name sound familiar, it is because he is the son of music mogul Jimmy Iovine who helped Drake break all streaming records when he released Views on Apple Music.
A snippet from Dennis’ first single also surfaced on the web. According to TMZ, Graham is still putting the finishing touches on the project and will drop a full track later this month. In the meantime, check out this music video clip. Dry ice for days.
