K. Roosevelt made a major impact a few years ago with his breakout single “Do Me Now” featuring and produced by Hit-Boy. The song seemed like it would have been the perfect jump start for him to release his debut solo album. A year after that, the Los Angeles based crooner slowed down a bit and was only able to release two solo EPs, while also appearing on on tracks with Audio Push, The Game, Hit-Boy and Skeme along the way.
Roosevelt returned earlier this year following a hiatus and released a couple of singles to let his fans know that he hadn’t forgotten about them. A month after the return track dropped, K. Roosevelt is back today with the release of his debut albumNeon Haze. The project is 14 tracks strong and the crooner relies on himself to get the job done as he doesn’t call on anyone to hold down guest feature spots.
